Bear was a min-pin who was found near wendy's in downtown fresno, by the college. He was a nervous boy who could barely be caught only because he wanted some of our chicken... he was hungry! Bear found a wonderful new home with another min-pin who he enjoys playing with.
Simon was an adorable big puppy found at the fresno city college. He was looking for someone to love him, but everyone just chose to ignore him as they chatted away near the classrooms. Debbie asked if he belonged to anyone, but after awhile, it was clear he was just a stray. No one claimed Simon, and he had to overcome a nasty case of mange. With some good luck though, after eight months, it paid off to continue looking for Simon a new home... he was adopted out to a wonderful, knowledgeable family who adores him! He and his new friend are very well trained now! Please see Simon's page for more photos!
Simon is an American Pit Bull Terrier (and I think he may have some American Bulldog in him 'cuz he got sooo big!)... and Zoey, another rescue, is an American Staffordshire Terrier who was also a rescue! The two are great role models for the breed, and continue to be loved in a responsible home!
Tippy found a wonderful new home! Tippy is a Border Collie crossed with a Texas Blue Lacy. She was a very sweet, active girl who attached easily to one family. Tippy is growing up nicely and came out of her shell at All Ears. She was rescued by another lady and made her way to our home, where she was able to find a loving new home! Thanks to Marilyn at PROUD dog rescue in Kingsburg for helping with this adoption!
Thunder is a red, liver, and white australian shepherd that found a wonderful home! He was a very nervous boy when we found him running in the middle of the highway. Hence, his name was because he was found during a thunderstorm. He was practically emaciated and drenched with rain water. He was never reclaimed and clearly had been abandoned probably due to his separation anxiety that he has since overcome. Thunder has come a long ways! He is a sweet heart and now lives with another rescued dog who is a german shepherd mix. The two get along great and now enjoy playing tug with their new toys! What a lucky dog!
