What are humans good food for dogs?

I start feeding my dogs a combination of dog food and Food. What foods are not only safe and healthy for dogs, but also loved? Can I mix it with dog food, or just give your face? I read somewhere that cottage cheese was good for them, but then I read somewhere that dairy was bad for them. I do not mean any bad food. I mean to vegetables, meats, etc. I had no idea they'd like carrots … Thanks
