What are the signs of cancer in dogs?

My 12 year old Rottweiler had a tumor removed from his leg, but could not afford afford to do a biopsy. I want to know the signs of cancer, where it was. Thank you.

It depends on the location of the cancer and what type of cancer. It is a conversation you have with your veterinarian. I know many will say that it should have found a way to get the biopsy but we must ask whether it is cancer How can / will lead cancer treatments. It is the quality of life. The signs of cancer include weight loss, eating normally, swollen and sensitive areas the body, nonhealing wounds, cough, wheezing and difficulty breathing (if the cancer invades the lungs or heart). Cancers of the brain in neurological function as the ability to walk upright, use your legs or take the head right. digestive cancers may present with bloody stools, vomiting of bile and loss of appetite. Each of these listed signs of cancer may be a sign of other diseases or illnesses that are not cancer. Cancer is scary. See your veterinarian and see what you need to monitor your dog. Good luck.
